Homework and Research

Stuck on that tricky homework question? Need to find some answers but not sure where to look? We’ve put together a list of useful resources you can find at the library and a selection of useful websites to help in those tough situations.

Library Resources

We have a variety of resources to help with your homework or research. Visit the library, use one of our study tables, book a computer or check out test and study material.

These resources are available at the library:

  • Test preparation study materials – Whether you’re studying for your GED, SAT, CAHSEE or looking at taking career focused examinations, we have study guides and workbooks to help you.
  • Classics – Our collection of ‘classic’ novels includes titles from Harper Lee to Doctor Zhivago. If you’ve got a hankering to read one of literacy’s finest, or need to get your hands on a title for study, this is the place to look.
  • Non-Fiction – The non-fiction collection provides information on maths, languages, history or general topics like how to write a great essay. If you need additional research material, or something to help guide you as you study, the collection is ready to be browsed or search through our online catalog.

Family Homework Center

The Family Homework Center is a great resource for students, computers can be reserved with your library card. We have a great range of tools available on the computers and students may use a computer for up to 2 hours per session.
