Using Library Databases
Need to find quick information for educational research or personal interest? Then sign up for a 15 – 30 minute introductory tutorial on using library databases to find current information on health issues, legal resources, test preparation and sample exams (GED, Citizenship, SAT etc.), and social issues. Learn how to find and print or email an article using the Gale databases at the Library. Prerequisites: Basic skills in using a PC including mouse, keyboard, and email.
eBooks and Streaming Services
Learn how to download the library’s free Enki e-Books on your Apple and Android devices. Also receive tutoring and training on utilizing our streaming services such as Kanopy, Flipster and others supported by the San Benito County Free Library.
Email Basics
Create a free personal email account and learn to compose, send, receive and forward email and attachments. For beginning computer users with basic keyboard and mouse skills.
Social Media
Learn basics to navigating around Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Goodreads. Learn how to connect with friends and family onthese popular social media platforms.
Zoom Tutoring
