Get a Library Card

Register Online

Patrons may register online for a library card or register in person at the library.  To receive a library card, you will need to present in-person a picture ID with name and current address.

If identification is provided, but not a current address, a temporary card is issued. The patron is given a postcard to address to themselves for verification of address. After receiving the postcard in the mail, the patron must bring in the postcard to obtain a permanent library card. This is done as a courtesy for individuals needing use of the Internet (1 TIME) or check out (1 BOOK) immediately on a one-time basis. Children 17 years and younger require either a parent or guardian to be present.

Lost or stolen library cards should be reported immediately; otherwise, patrons will be responsible for items checked out on the library card. The library should also be notified of changes of address or phone number. Please, review our policies on borrowing and using library computers with your library card.
