The Friends of the San Benito County Free Library is a non-profit organization made up of voluntary citizens whose shared goal is to promote the welfare and growth of their library by providing support to enrich the library’s resources and make its services better known to the community. This integral organization helps the library in the following ways:

  • Promoting the welfare and growth of the Library, to enrich its resources, and make its services better known to the community.
  • Supporting the efforts of our library’s administration and staff and to offer suggestions on needed programs and services.
  • Sponsoring youth programs such as the Kids Club, the Summer Reading program, Story time, and after-school activities.
  • Encouraging others (or yourself) to provide the library with gifts of time and talent for the library.
  • Providing funds for books, supplies, and equipment not funded in your library’s budget.
  • Being part of the rich history of Library Development in San Benito County.
