Zip Books is a FREE service that allows San Benito County residents with a San Benito County Free Library card to request books to be delivered to their homes by filling out the request form below.

Zip Books is a project of the California State Library . Zip Books is supported in whole or in part by funding provided by the State of California, administered by the California State Library.

For questions, concerns, or to make a request please email the coordinator  with your name, mailing address, book title, published year and author. There is also a request form to print and turn in as well.

Requirements:

• Patrons must have a library card and not owe more than $5.00 in library fines.
• Patrons must live in San Benito County.
• The San Benito County Free Library must not already own a copy of the item.
• The cost of each item must be under $50.00 before taxes.
• Once your order is processed, your item will be mailed to the address indicated on your request form.
• Please RETURN your Zip Book to the Library within 3 weeks of receiving it.
• Please return the book to library staff at the front desk with the packing slip that came with the book. Please do not drop the book off in the drop box.
• Patrons can request up to five items per month.
• Books only available from 3rd party sellers will not be ordered.
