Children’s Summer Reading Program 2022

How to Participate
  • Our Children's Virtual Summer Reading Program is for participants ages 0-12!
  • Register online at https://sbcfl.beanstack.org starting Tuesday, June 1st.
  • Set a reading goal and track your progress on the Beanstack app (Apple/Android) or pick up a paper reading log at the Library.
  • Children ages 0-12 are invited to participate in free, fun virtual events every Tuesday at 2:00 pm from June 15th through July 27th. Everyone who participates in our activities each week will be entered to win prizes!
  • Finish tracking your reading in Beanstack or return your completed reading log to the Library between July 30th and August 31st to be entered to win a Kindle Fire tablet!
Important Dates
  • June 1st: Registration begins
  • June 15th: Children’s virtual activities begin
  • July 27th: Children’s program finale
  • August 31st: Last day to track reading in Beanstack or turn in reading logs to the Library to be entered to win a Kindle Fire

6 Indigo: Space 7/20/21 Aliens: Escape from Earth with Talewise! To participate, follow these instructions:

  • Overdrive: Enjoy reading Overdrive eBooks and audiobooks by the Northern California Digital Library. Overdrive offers thousands of ebooks and audiobooks anytime, anywhere!
  • Project Gutenburg: library of over 60,000 free eBooks. Choose among free ePub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world’s great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for enjoyment and education.
