A free library card may obtained by presenting some form of identification that has your name and current address. If identification is provided but not a current address, a temporary card is issued. The patron is given a postcard to address to themselves for verification of address. After receiving the postcard in the mail, the patron must bring in the postcard to obtain a permanent library card. This is done as a courtesy for individuals that need to use the Internet (1 TIME) or check out (1 BOOK) immediately and on a one-time basis. Children 17 years and younger require either a parent or guardian to be present.
Lost or stolen library cards should be reported immediately; otherwise, you will be responsible for items checked out on your library card. The Library should also be notified of changes of address or phone number.
