Internet upgrade for the Library

The San Benito County Free Library recently received a grant from the California State Library for a high-speed internet upgrade to meet the growing needs of our community. The speed has increased from 1 GBPS to 10 GBPS, allowing ample support for streaming video, telecommunications such as Zoom and seamless downloading capabilities. Upgrading the internet connection also included a boost to our patron Wi-Fi signal, providing greater parking opportunities… Continue reading

Library Open for Walk Through Service

Library Open for Walk Through Service

The library will be open for patrons to browse beginning Saturday May 22nd, 2021. Every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 1 pm to 5:30 pm designated areas of the library collection will be available for small groups of 4 to come in and safely browse for books.
